THE STORY OF BHAGWAN NITYANANDA AARATI

In south Maharashtra there was Dattatrey's devotee, His name was was Bhaskar Mhaskar, as he was Bramhin priest, people called him Mhaskar Guruji. He had longing for Lord Dattatrey. To have His darshan, Mhaskar decided to read "Shree Guru Charitra" 108 times in Ganagapur. Ganagapur is a town in south India, in Karnataka State. In this town, the Third Incarnation of Lord Dattatreya stayed for 23 years.
So, Mr. Mhaskar went to Ganagapur to read the the Shree Guru Charitra. It is the autobiography of Shri Narshimha Saraswati. It is written in a poetic form. It has more then 8000 verses, and they are broken into 53 chapters. People read Shree Guru Charitra with devotion and love for Lord Dattatreya. By reading it many people have had Shree Gurudatta's Darshan. It takes 7 days to read whole Gurucharitra.
People follow strict sadhana rules out of devotion and respect for reading the glory of Lord Dattatreya. So, Mr. Mhaskar Guruji started to read the Guru Charitra. He finished 100 times in the span of 2 years, but still he did not have the Darshan of Lord Dattatrey. So he went in the temple and prayed to Lord Dattatreya that I want your Darshan, I have been reading your Charitra and you don’t have compassion for me? But still no Darshan of Lord Dattatreya. He finished reading it 107 times. He got angry with devotion on his Beloved Lord Dattatreya. He said before starting to read it for last time, I want your Darshan. If you don’t give me your Darshan, I will kill myself. He waited for three days, but he did not have even a dream of Lord Dattatrey. So he decided to stop eating food until the Darshan. 4 days passed and he did not eat. He got weak. He fainted. And he had vision of Lord Dattatrey.
Lord Dattatreya said to him "What are you doing here? If you want to see me Walking Talking (meaning real Dattatrey with physical body) Dattatrey, go to Ganeshpuri. I am alive there............. go to Ganeshpuri go......
Mhaskar Guruji asked where is this Ganeshpuri? How to reach there? Who will take me there? Lord Dattatrey replied him in vision that just start your journey, I will guide you. Tomorrow, go to the railway station and sit in the train going towards Mumbai.
So accordingly, Mhaskar Guruji started his journey. He sat in the train. He did
not have money to buy a ticket, but trusting the words of Gurudatta, he started the journey towards Ganeshpuri. The ticket checker came 3 or 4 times in the train but did not ask him for a ticket. Mhaskar checked all people in the train. He travelled for almost 9 Hours, and then the train entered in Mumbai region. A few people in same train, near his seat, started talking about Ganeshpuri. They were talking in general. In Mr. Mhaskar Guruji’s mind, he was just thinking of asking them how to reach Ganeshpuri, and at same time people started talking about the bus timing going to Ganeshpuri from Mumbai station. He asked them "Do you know where in Ganeshpuri Lord Dattatrey stays? Is this true?” but those people did not give him any reply.
Then he got down at Mumbai railway station, then went to bus station, got a bus for Ganeshpuri. and reached Ganeshpuri. When Mhaskar reached Ganeshpuri, it was near about 2PM. He started asking people where is Lord Dattatrey? He did not know the name Nityananda. People said there is no Dattatrey in Ganeshpuri, but people told him there is Swami Nityananda in Ganeshpuri, then showed him the way to Kailas Bhuwan where Bhagwan Nityanada used to stay.
There was a huge darshan line. many people were there. On the other side, Bhagwan Nityananda said to some people around him "oh go outside, my devotee is waiting, he is wearing dirty cloths, white cap on head. Get him in, get him in." So a few young boys found Mhaskar and told him Bhagwan Nityananda is calling him. He got very confused that how come these young boys are knowing him. Then he came inside the room where Baba was sitting. As he came in the room Bhagwan Nityananda got up and put his hands on Mhaskar’s shoulders. Bhagwan Nityananda said, “you want to see Datta, look at me.” In Mhaskar Guruji's mind he started to think this is someting problematic situation. He was very uneasy. Bade Baba, knowing that, started to laugh. Bhagwan Nityananda said "You don’t believe me that I am Datta. Look at me. Look at me.” As Mhaskar started to look, he had darshan of Lord Dattatreya in Bhagwan Nityananda.
Then, Mr. Mhaskar Guruji held Bhagwan Nityananda's Feet. Then Bhagwan Nityanada gave him prasad and said to him to go to Nasik city and read the last 108th time Guru Charitra in Kala Ram Mandir. It is Lord Rama’s Temple. Mhaskar said to Bhagwan Nityananda I don’t have money to go there......... Bhagwan Nityananda ignored him and said “feed 1008 Bhramhins as finale of the reading it 108 times.” Mhaskar said again to Bhagwan Nityananda, I don’t have money to go there and you are telling to to feed 1008 Bramhins. Bhagwan laughed and said dont worry just go.
There were some people from Nasik who had came from Nasik, so Mr. Bhaskar
Mhaskar Guruji went with those people to Nasik. Then, when he was reading the Guru Charitra, people were offering money on Shree Guru Charitra Book. This was back in 1952 - the money offered was 2000 Indian Rupees. At that time it was so great deal to have that much money. So he offered food to bramhins after completion of reading the Guru Charitra for 108 times. He gave 51 rupees dakshina to all the bramhins who had came for Prasad.
Then Mhaskar returned to Ganeshpuri............ then Baba told him to go on a pilgrimage to Lord Dattatreya’s main places. Kuravpur town........ where Shripad Shri Valabha temple is there Ganagapur ............ Where Narahari aslo known as Shri Narshimha Saraswati Manik Nagar ......... where Manik Prabhu's Ashram is there Akkalkot .......... where Swami Samartha also known as Akkalkot Swami
then he want to Shirdi where Sai Baba Samadhi is there. Where ever Mhaskar went in these temples, he did not see a statue of Dattatreya but he only was able to see it as Statue of Bhagwan Nityananda. He got full Faith for Bhagwan Nityananda as Dattatrey. When he came back to Ganeshpuri, Bhagwan Nityananda told him to stay in Ganeshpuri Town with his family, and also orded him to do seva.
One day, Bhagwan Nityananda called Mhaskar and said why don’t you write poems on me? He said to Bhagwan Nityananda, me and poems its not possible. I am not educated. Bhagwan put his hand on Mhaskar’s head and said "fill your heart with devotion you will get all knowledge to write," and next day Mhaskar wrote the JAY JAY AARATI NITYANANDA.
When he showed the aarati to Bhagwan Nityananda, he was dancing and was very happy. Bhagwan said to him "I bless you that after me, this arati will give joy in hearts of my devotees. Who will do my aarati for three times I will be specially present there ..................” After seeing Mr. Bhaskar Mhaskar writing the aarati, other people wrote Bhagwan Nityananda’s arati also, but Bhagwan said Jay Jay will be my Arati. This is what I have heard from Mr. Mhaskar Guruji him self.

Asht Sidhi Nav Nidhi

Every single human being on earth is filled up with equal miraculous powers and has no differentiation of any type at all between a poor and a rich. No individual being is empty from inside and has the presence of same Soul which truly belongs to Bhagwan Shiv Shiva.Siddhi powers are obtainable by meditation, control of the senses, devotion, mantras etc. Seeking Siddhi powers is often discouraged and considered to be an impediment to spiritual advancement. All the Ashta Siddhis and Nava Nidhis are present inside every human body in equal means.

The Ashta Siddhi (eight siddhis) in Hinduism are as mentioned below :

  1. ANIMA      – Reducing one’s body even to the size of an atom .
  2. MAHIMA    – Expanding one’s body to an infinitely large size.
  3. GARIMA     – Becoming infinitely heavy.
  4. LAGHIMA   – Becoming almost weightless.
  5. PRAPTIKA  – Having unrestricted access to all places.
  6. PRAKAMYA – Realizing whatever one desires.
  7. ISITVA       – Possessing absolute lordship.
  8. VASITVA    – The power to subjugate all.

The Nava Nidhi (nine types of wealth) in Hinduism are as mentioned below :

1. PARKAYA PRAVESH – Parkaya Pravesh means one’s soul entering into the body of some other person or animal or bird. Through this knowledge even a dead body can be brought to life.

2. HAADI VIDYA – This vidya or knowledge has been mentioned in several ancient texts. On acquiring this vidya, a person feels neither hunger nor thirst, and can remain without eating food or drinking water for several days at a stretch.

3. KAADI VIDYA – Just as one does not feel hunger or thirst in Haadi vidya, similarly in Kaadi vidya a person is not affected by change of seasons, i.e. by summer, winter, rain, etc. After accomplishing this vidya, a person shall not feel cold even if he sits in the snow-laden mountains, and shall not feel hot even if he sits in the fire.

4. VAYU GAMAN SIDDHI – Through this Siddhi a person can become capable of flying in the  skies and traveling from one place to another in just a few seconds.

5. MADALASA VIDYA – On accomplishing this vidya, a person becomes capable of increasing or decreasing the size of his body according to his wish. Hanuman Ji had miniaturized his body through this vidya while entering the city of Lanka. In Hanuman Chalisa it is also mentioned “Asht sidhi nau nidhi ke data asbar dina janki mata

6. KANAKDHARA SIDDHI – One can acquire immense and unlimited wealth through this Siddhi.

7. PRAKYA SADHANA – Through this sadhana a Yogi can direct his disciple to take birth from the womb of a woman who is childless or cannot bear children.

8. SURYA VIGYAN – This solar science is one of the most significant sciences of ancient India. This science has been known only to the Indian Yogis; using it, one substance can be transformed into another through the medium of sun rays.

9. MRIT SANJEEVANI VIDYA – Through this knowl edge even a dead person can be brought back to life.

Mata Lalita Tripursundari Katha

This stotra (hymn which praises) occurs in Brahmanda purana (Old epic of the universe) in the Chapter on discussion between Hayagreeva and Agasthya.Hayagreeva is an incarnation of Vishnu with the horse head and is believed to be the storehouse of knowledge. Agasthya is one of the great sages of yore who is one of the stars of the constellation great bear. At his request Hayagreeva taught him the most holy 1000 names of Lalitha.
Parama shiva is one of the trinity of Hindu pantheons who is in charge of destruction. He married Sathi , the daughter of Daksha. Daksha and Paramashiva were not getting on well and consequently he did not invite Paramashiva for one of the great fire sacrifices that he conducted. However Sathi went to attend the function in spite of Paramashiva’s protest. Daksha insulted her husband and she jumped in to the fire and ended her life. Consequently at the behest Of Paramashiva Daksha was killed and later given life with a goat’s head. However this incident upset Paramashiva and he entered into deep meditation.Sathi took birth as the daughter of the mountain(Parvathy) Himalayas and started doing penance on Shiva for getting him as her husband. The devas faced a very great enemy in Sura Padma who had a boon that he could be killed only by a son of Shiva and Parvathy. So to wake Shiva from his deep meditation the devas deputed Manmatha , the God of love who shot his flower arrows at Paramashiva. Paramashiva woke up and opened his third eye and burnt the God of love into ashes. The Devas and Rathi Devi the wife of Manmatha requested Paramashiva to give life to Manmatha. Heeding for their request Paramashiva stared at the ashes of Manmatha. From the ashes came Bhandasura Who made all the world as impotent and ruled from the city called Shonitha pura.He started troubling the devas. The devas then sought the advice of Sage Narada who advised them to conduct a fire sacrifice. From the fire rose Sri Lalitha Tripura Sundari.
She was extremely beautiful, having dark thick long hair with scent of Champaka, Asoka and Punnaga flowers, having the musk thilaka on her forehead, Having eyelids which appeared as if it is the gate of the house of God of love ,having eyes which were like fish playing in the beauteous lake of her face, Having nose with studs which shined more than the stars, Having ears with sun and moon as studs, having cheeks which were like mirror of Padmaraga, Having beautiful rows of white teeth, Chewing Thamboola with camphor, having voice sweeter than the sound emanating from Veena of Sarswathi, Having such a beautiful smile that Lord Shiva himself could not take his eyes off, Wearing Mangala soothra and necklaces with beautiful shining dollars, Having breasts which were capable of buying the invaluable love of Kameswara, having row of faint beautiful hair raising from her belly, having stomach with three pretty folds, wearing red silk tied with a string with red bells. Having thighs which steal the heart of Kameshwara, Having knees which looked like crowns made of precious gems, having voluptuous legs, having upper part of the feet resembling the back of tortoise, Having feet which resembled the lamps made of gems which could dispel worries from the mind of devotees and a body with the golden red colour. She was given in marriage to Lord Kameshwara and made to stay in Sree Nagara at the top of Maha Meru Mountain.
Sree nagara had 25 streets circling it. They are made of iron, steel, copper, lead, alloy made of five metals, silver, gold, the white Pushpa raga stone, the red Padmaraga stone. Onyx, diamond, Vaidoorya, Indra neela (topaz), pearl, Marakatha, coral, nine gems and mixture of gems and precious stones. In the eighth street was the forest of Kadambas. This is presided by Syamala. In the fifteenth street live the Ashta Digh palakas. In the sixteenth lives Varahi alias Dandini who is her commander in chief. Here Syamala also has a house. In the seventeenth street live the different Yoginis. In the eighteenth street lives Maha Vishnu. In the nineteenth street lives Esana, in the twentieth Thara Devi, twenty first Varuni , the twenty second Kurukulla who presides over the fort of pride, twenty third Marthanda Bhairawa, twenty fourth the moon and twenty fifth Manmatha presiding over the forest of love. In the center of Srinagara is the Maha Padma Vana(The great lotus forest) and within it the Chintamani Griha (The house of holy thought),In its north east is the Chid agni kunda and on both sides of its eastern gate are the houses of Manthrini and Dhandini. On its four gates stand the Chaduramnaya gods for watch and ward. And within it is the Sri chakra. In the center of Sri Chakra on the throne of Pancha brahmas on the Bindu Peeta(dot plank) called sarvanandamaya(universal happiness) Sits Maha Tripura Sundari. In the Sri Chakra are the following decorations viz., The square called Trilokya mohanam(most beautiful in the three worlds), The sixteen petalled lotus called Sarvasa paripoorakam(fulfiller of all desires), the eight petalled lotus called Sarvasamksopanam(the all cleanser), the sixteen corner figure called Sarva sowbagyam(all luck),the external ten cornered figure called Sarvartha sadhakam (giver of all assets), the internal ten cornered figure called Sarva raksha karam(All protector), the eight cornered figure called Sarva roka haram(cure of all diseases), triangle called Sarva siddhi pradam(giver of all powers) and the dot called Sarvananda mayam(all pleasures).
The devas prayed her to kill Bhandasura..When she started for the war with Bandasura, she was accompanied by the powers called anima, mahima etc, Brahmi, Kaumari, Vaishnavi, Varahi, Mahendri, Chamundi, Maha Lakshmi, , Nitya Devaths and Avarna Devathas who occupy the Sri Chakra. While Sampatkari devi was the captain of the elephant regiment, Aswarooda devi was the captain of the cavalry. The army was commanded by Dhandini riding on the Charriot called Giri Chakra assisted by Manthrini riding on the chariot called Geya Chakra..Jwala malini protected the army by creating a fire ring around it.ParaShakthi rode in the center on the chariot of Sri Chakra.Nithya Devi destroyed a large chunk of Bandasura’s armies , Bala Devi killed the son of Bandasura, and Manthrini and Dhandini killed his brothers called Vishanga and Vishukra. When the Asuras created blockade for the marching army, Sri Lalitha Tripura sundari created Ganesha with the help of Kameshwara to remove the blockade. Then Bandasura created the asuras called Hiranyaksha, Hiranya Kasipu and Ravana. The Devi created the ten avatars of Vishnu and destroyed them. She killed all his army using Pasupathastra and killed him with Kameshwarasthra. The gods then praised her.She then recreated Manmatha for the good of the world. This story is contained in the first 84 names of the first 34 slokas of Lalitha Sahasra nama .and all together contains one thousand names. This is also called the Rahasya Nama Sahasra(the thousand secret names).Reading it , meditating on the meaning of the names would lead to the fulfillment of all the wishes of the devotees.

Importance of Guru

The word Guru comes from Sanskrit and its root words are gu, meaning darkness, and ru, dispeller. A Guru is an awakened man or woman who has personally, through the help and invaluable transfer of consciousness from a Guru before, become able to transmit higher consciousness to the aspirant.
Mother gives the first birth to a child. We come into the world through the mother. But second birth is through the Guru. The master delivers you the knowledge and skill. We all play the role of teacher, guide, guru, but when the spiritual knowledge is so total, that one is called Sathguru. An Acharya (teacher) gives knowledge and Guru gives height of awareness and makes you alive. Acharya gives information; Guru gives intelligence, an awakened intelligence.
Guru is a tatva — an element, a quality inside you. It is not limited to a body or a form. Guru is too big for you to make. Guru comes in your life in spite of your refusing or rebelliousness. Don't struggle to make a Guru. Just relax. Wake up and see. Feel grateful. Give all your garbage to the Guru and be free. Guru makes gold out of garbage. It is easy to make that change because everyone is made up of that one thing.
When your life is full, you get a feeling of gratitude then you start with the Guru and end up adoring everything in life. Guru is just a beginning. Whenever you praise, the praise goes to the divine. When you praise someone, your own consciousness is expanding. So for your own sake, adore and venerate others.
That is why we celebrate Guru Poornima. Guru Poornima is the day to feel grateful for the great knowledge you have received from your Master. There is a definite change inside you. Gratitude and humility together blossom a genuine prayer inside you!

How to find guru:
You do not need to find your guru, just create the will from inside, it will automatically happen, guru will come to you.
Still basic rule to check the person is your guru are:

  • If you know what to do in his presence then he is not guru.
  • If you do not know in his presence then he is guru.
  • If you do not know in his presence but everything automatically happens then definitely he is guru.

Uses of Cow Dung
Cow Dung can be used:
Manure
Cow Dung is rich in minerals and that makes it very good manure. It is generally preferred over chemical fertilizers as it maintains the pH of the soil, unlike the chemical fertilizers which disturb the pH balance of the soil after repeated usage. Vermicompost could also be developed using cow-dung.
Pest-Repellent
A majority of synthetic herbicides and pesticides are environmentally unsafe. These are toxic at exceedingly small concentration to human being and the target pest are reportedly developing resistance to these chemicals. A composition of cow-dung and urine forms a very effective pest repellent. Go-vigyan Anusandhan Kendra, Nagpur, an organization doing research on development of products from cow-urine and dung, has developed the formulation and produced the repellent that has proven performance for seasonal crops and horticulture. This organization has also developed mosquito repellent using cow-dung.
